Greetings all,

We are curious about what this group does about office visit charges. In all
the other types medical offices I go to (dental, medical, homeopathic,
chiropractic, specialist), I get charged just to come by. An office visit.

A consultation. An adjustment. An evaluation. A fitting. I don't see an
L-Code for any of these. I get a warning that some of the charges that end
up on my medical bill may not be paid by the insurance company.

So, as a durable medical professional, what do you do about these
situations? Do you charge for office visits as consultations? Do you charge
for all adjustments? Do you charge for evaluations? For fittings? Would your
doctor? Your dentist? Your chiropractor?

Please let us know what your policies are. We are interested in only totally
ethical responses.

Thank you,
