Hello all:
I'm hoping someone out there can help. I have a patient with severe RA and her doctor wants inserts with a silicone cover. I fab'd them and covered with a silicone like material from Otto Bock. The material is a peel and stick approx 4mm thick. Well it doesn't stick, which I expected. The patient loves the inserts and the relief they provide, but in less than a day they slide off.
My question. Is there any material out there to bond silicone to puff? I tried super 77, silicone adhesive, (Industrial), and zapadabagoo from knit-rite, all to no avail. Silipos has nothing. Please help! I would like to make these available to more needy patients if possible.
