Thanks for all the responses. I did choose the LTI system silicone glove and passive hand # H323. The myo system prosthesis is Otto Bock internally with the OB hand and OB silicone sleeve. The electrodes are from LTI with hybrid cables and leads.
Here is the original question:
I have a be, male 16 yoa, in need of a new myo system with silicone
sleeve, distal lock construction. Is there an Electrode that is
adaptable to the silicone that uses the same hook-ups as Otto Bock?
I am aware of Motion Control electrodes but unaware of compatibility
between the two systems.
Also, who makes a silicone glove that I can get pre-fabricated? I
thought Otto Bock came out with one. Realastic does but you have to send
it to them for install.
All responses will be forwarded.
Thanks, in advance

John,
Ossur makes a nice custom to mm silicone glove.

Call Emil Dovan or Michael Kaczkowski at Alatheia Prosthetics @ 877-252-8434. They just came out with a fairly impressive OTC BK cover, and may be coming out soon with a OTC BE cover.

John,
Check the liners for arms with Otto Bock. They have limited sizes but if your patient has the correct measurement theirs work great. I have used several Otto Bock liners and definitely use Otto Bock U/E locking mechanism. Cutting holes in the Otto Bock liner is no problem (doesn't tear). I have always used Bock electrodes.

Contact Wayne Daly, CPO at Center for Prosth and Orth in Seattle. He
does liners a lot for myo. Also, I believe that Hosmer has a new
silicone glove from England that is over counter.

If you are still with Hemet, I am your OPGA prosthetist. You are one of our
members. I specialized in Upper Extremity our here in Des Moines, Iowa. I do
not know which 'hook-up' you might be referring to but Motion Control has a
hand with the controller in it now. I use the snap-on electrodes with Alpha
liners out here and they are great for the right patient. Liberating
Technology distributes the Skinergy line of silicone products. They have
silicone production gloves. Give them a call to see if they recommend
putting their glove on the hand you have. If you are still with Hemet, say
hi to Lynn and Wayne. Tell Lynn I am still waiting for her to invite us out
to do a Patient Care Clinic!!! I will hopefully see them out in Florida in
September. Good luck. If you want to brainstorm on other options, give me a
call.(Liberating-800-437-0024 ask for Bill Hanson if he is around).
