activities?
How to get in touch with the numerous organizations that provide
rehabilitation services in the Caribbean, Central and Latin America or
beyond?
Reaching Beyond Our Borders – US ISPO International Conference on
Disabilities
January 14-15, 2005
Wyndham Orlando Resort – Orlando, Florida
An Important Event of Interest to Rehabilitation Specialists including
Physicians, Surgeons, Orthotists, Prosthetists, Therapists and others with
interest in international outreach activities.
Course content will include the general areas of:
I. Regional Needs
II. Appropriate Technologies, Techniques and Education
III. International Outreach topics such as How to Get Involved, Do’s and
Don’ts, and Cultural Sensitivities.
Presenters will include Keynote Speaker, Heinz Trebbin, Director of the GTZ
Project in El Salvador and current member of the ISPO Education and
Publications Committees, as well as other national and internationally
renowned rehabilitation specialists from USAID, The International Committee
for the Red Cross, the World Rehabilitation Fund and many more.

early due to a large citywide event in Orlando!
