Subject: Assistance for prosthetics
Hello
My name is Christi, I am a social service worker in Virginia. I have
recently met a family of immigrants that are struggling to make ends meet.
The husband was working on powerlines in his native country, he was told the
power was off but when he grabbed hold of the lines the were still live. He
lost both forearms over 10 years ago, they have come here for a better life
hoping that employers would see that he is a bright capable individual.
This gentleman currently has a very old pair of prosthetics that can no
longer grip, write or function properly. No one will hire him.
Can you help?
Thank you in advance for any assistance or leads you can share.
