Thanks all, below is my original message:
Dear list, I am looking for a way to detach a simple hip joint from a TLSO. The child uses the TLSO at night but does not use his KAFO. By simple, I mean its a unilateral free motion hip joint attached to the trochanter extension of his TLSO. The hip joint attached to his KAFO is to prevent excessive internal rotation. Any ideas? Molly Pitcher CPO
Becker has a quick disconnect and so does Fillauer. Links to their web sites are as follows:

Below is another interesting idea:
Here is an example of a removeable lower afo section on a Hip abduction
brace we did. Took a caliper plate for the bottom of a shoe (AFO), drilled
and tapped a hole for a screw with a knob on it (could do a pin with a ball
catch?) and attached a caliper stirrup to the upright. Slid in, tighten
screw, done.
A picture was included with this message but I don't know how to send it in this e-mail. If anyone is interested in it, let me know and I will forward the message.
This is a very active kid, I repeat ACTIVE and I wonder if those who have used these joints have anything to say about durability.
