Dear fellows ,
I have seen a female 72 year´s old patient that has lost her knee joint
after several surgical failures and due to that has to use a plastic knee
imobilizer the whole time .
The question is that suddenly she has developed an allergy really serious
and they have tried all materials ( plastazote , evazote , pelite , plastic
foam , vinyl ,etc) for lining and all made her sore.
I have tried to take it all and put only a cotton sock but it also caused a
skin rush.
It is not a problem of cleaning products used on the brace , nor soap on her
skin , only when she puts the brace.
After a skin rush it takes several days to come normal.
I think of trying to line with a very soft (with no pigment) leather.
Any sugestions?

I would like to thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
