Subject: Re: Donations to Iraq
Dear Mr. Kenney,
I am writing on behalf of Opportunities for Kids International, Inc. of
Western New York. I hope you remember discussions we had a few months back
regarding work my organization is doing in Iraq.
Scott from the Timmy Foundation has informed me that he contacted you
briefly about the request I recieved for donations of artificial limbs in
Iraq.
I realize these are not easy times yet it is exactly these times where good
needs to prevail. The donation of goods as well as time and skills from
Dr's., hospitals, universities, professionals, and other great volunteeers
still leaves a powerful message of compassion, and peace.
Any help of donations or referrals would certainly be appreciated. I have
an avenue to send donations over to Baghdad via Military mail which allows
delivery to be within about 2 two weeks. OKI could assist with mailing costs
if donations are available.
Thank you for letting me put this request before you as well.
With Regards,
Debbie Bowers
