Has anyone had the opportunity of working with a patient diagnosed with
Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa? This is a rare genetic disease characterized by
the presence of extremely fragile skin and recurrent blister formation,
resulting from minor mechanical friction or trauma. Estimates state that 2 out of
every 100,000 Americans suffer from this unusual disorder.
I am following a BKA with this condition, and I would like to share my
experiences with anyone who has worked with similar patients. Thanks.
