Wow, What a response!! Thanks everyone for taking time out to answer. This was a big help.
Paul Meyer, CPO
1) In response to your partial foot fabrication, we have had a number of
silicone partial feet and hands fabricated by Otto Bock. They have done a
superior job for us!!
2)Try Alatheia Prosthetics. They specialize in partial feet. Their website is www.dermatos.com
3)We have a fantastic technician who has been making our silicone feet and
we have had them in the field for about two years now and they have been
very successful. Please contact Mikey at this address if you would like
a custom foot that has a proven track record.

4)The guys at Peaster and Williams Central Fab do a good job with silicone
partial feet. You can reach them at, 800-288-5450.
5)With alot of our partial foot patients we have started using the Arizona with toe filler. We take a cast of the patient and send it and a shoe to Towers Orthopedic Design, Inc. 300 Alpha Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15238. We have them put a rigid shank in the make. It has a built in rocker. This has bee accepted by the patients. The silicone one tend to loose shape after awhile.
Hope this helps.
6) I work with LIVINGSKIN Prosthetics but feel we are one such group that you
can trust with the fabrication. If I did not feel this way, I would not be
working for LIVINGSKIN.
7) Try using UCO International fabrication in Chicago, Illinois. This is the facility which used to be a central fabrication company Jim Russ owned
8) Prosthetics Research in Bushnell Florida 352-793-4477

11) I have had consistent success with coyote for silicone partial's. Good
luck
12) We would be happy to help you from our Custom Silicon Services department in Toronto.
Otto Bock has been a pioneer in the development and commercialization of amazingly lifelike silicone cosmeses for over a decade.
They can be reached at: 905-829-2080. Ask for Winston or Sandra Ramdial.
13) The best that we have used here in our office is Life-Like
Labratories in Texas, phone # (972) 620-0203. There is also a company
calledHealth Realastic that is good as well, phone # (800) 845-4566. Then of
course I know Prosthetic Research does them as well, phone # (800) 952-6744.
I hope this helps you out some.
14) My partner provided one last year and We were both very impressed with the
workmanship of the device at the time. It has held up well since then also.
It just so happens that I just cast a gentleman this week for the very same
device and plan on using the same people. They are
SQ Profab Inc.
502 N. Hudson St.
Orlando FLA 32835-1163
phone (407)293-1504
fax (407)293-4035
15) PRS and Otto Bock both do a nice job.
16) Paul , I was in the same postion a few months ago. I aske around and
entrusted the job to Altheia. They make silicone fingers, feet, and
prosthetic covers. It sounded so simple. One of my clients was a
partial foot restoration job and another was three fingers restoration.
Altheia will send you silicone RTV material that you mix to cover the
body part. You must be precise and quick. I covered both hands and both
feet to obtain the impressions. Then send it off to Altheia. Back
comes wax models and a color wheel to select skin color. Frankly I used
everyone including the patient to select colors. Each had a different
selection. In the end after swatches came back things began to look
promising. The colors of the final items were not perfect but character
was well done. Customer service is top notch. I would do another job
with them.
17) Fillauer is an excellent source
18) Ronnie Graves, PRS
19) Call Chris Harrigan at Hanger's Orlando C-Fab, or Peaster and Williams.
20) We, at API, O&P Central Fabrication, have done a
number of this type of partial foot. Closures of
either Velcro straps on the side or a proximal
zipper. We insert and laminate in a carbon keel/foot
plate. We like the finish best to simply make the
forefoot to fit into the patient's shoe, but we can
utilize a foot shell of your choice in order to have
the presence of toes. The attached pics are some
samples. We can pull a couple layers of stockinette
over the entire foot, toes and all, and laminate over
the toes as well so there is more of a blend and a
consistent color, though this will subdue the
definition of the toes. If you provide the foot shell
(a 2nd or imperfect one will do just fine), the price,
out the door is about $515.00. If you would like a
reference, please contact Tom Beal or Scott Weissman
at Valley Orthopedic Inc., Fresno, CA. Phone:
559-221-1933.
If we can answer any questions for you Paul, please
call us at: 805-239-7971.
Let us know if we can be of assistance.
21) I have had the best luck with PRS in FL. Ronnie Graves
has excellent craftsmanship in this area. The orthosis
fits very well and patients are pleased
