Dear List~
I am pleased to announce the agenda has been finalized for the Midwest
Chapter AAOP's Summer Scientific Seminar in Milwaukee June 3-5, 2004.
As the highlight of this meeting, the Chapter will again introduce another
groundbreaking symposium. This years subject is; Cad Cam in
Practice...Practitioners' Perspectives. This subject will highlight four different systems which
are being predominantly used in each presenter's practice. These viewpoints are
offered to give a perspective other than the manufacturer's on their own
product. The systems to be presented are: Otto Bock's ETS (both transtibial, and
transfemoral), Ohio Willow Wood's Omega, Hanger's Insignia, and Seattle
Shapemaker. Each practitioner will offer their experience both positive and negative,
and illustrate their own successes.
Other highlights of this meeting will be workshops which include new product
introductions from Motion Control, Otto Bock Health Care, and the Ossur RHEO
Knee Certification Course.
Ancillary functions include the traditional MWC Golf Outing on June 3rd
benefiting OPAF's Dale Yasukawa Memorial Fund, a First Swing Clinic presented
jointly by OPAF and NAGA on June 5th, Exhibitor's Cocktail Party on June 4th, and
at the foot of the hotel is Milwaukee's Riversplash Festival June 4-6 so bring
the family!
28 CEU Credits have been applied for.
Contact Joel Kempfer CP FAAOP, Chapter President for registration materials
