The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA)
Announces Publication of the 2004
ACA Print and Video Resource Guide

The ACA's National Limb Loss Information Center (NLLIC) has announced
the publication
of its 2004 ACA Print and Video Resources catalog. The newest additions
to the
catalog are reflective of information most frequently requested by
consumers.
In this latest edition, the NLLIC continues its ongoing efforts to
provide amputees,
industry professionals, and others with limb loss the best print and
video resources
available.

Highlights include the new Because We Care Patient Packet by NLLIC
staff; The
Comfort of Home: An Illustrated Step-By-Step Guide for Caregivers by
Maria M.
Meyer with Paula Derr, RN; One-Handed Typing and Keyboarding Manuals and
Resources
by Lilly Walters; Leaving the Log House by Ainslie Manson, and My Brand
New Leg
by Sharon Rae North.

Arriving in April 2004, the new catalog will be available for viewing
through
the ACA Web site (www.amputee-coalition.org

Hardcopies will be distributed by mail to medical professionals, O&P
companies,
amputees, and any other parties interested in learning more about these
resources.

This year, the NLLIC is offering free of charge Reflections on Managing
Disability
and Using Everything You've Got by the late Rev. Harold Wilke. The first
book
will be included with an order of $50, and both books will be included
with a
