Hi To All,
I have a patient that we treat in Honduras via International Health
Services. This gentleman has been successfully wearing his existing
prosthesis for approximately five years, and the knee is shot. My
dilemma is that the knee we used previously is no longer available. Any
suggestions? This is an endo design with single axis, extension assist
and optional lock. The device must be waterproof due to the high
humidity in the area and the conditions in which they live. I contacted
Otto Bock concerning the four-bar gray thermoplastic knee they use to
carry, and it is not longer available.
I very much appreciate any input on this situation.
Sincerely,
Lisa Schoonmaker, CPO
