Title:
knee flexion contracture
Text:
i am currently working on a transtibial case who presents 30 degrees of knee
flexion contracture at the amputated side. my technical problem is to align
the modular components and shuttle lock mechanism. surgical revision and
extensive P.T. are not the first options considering patient's age and desire. i
tried an angled clamp adapter that didn't help so much. i was wondering if there
is any type of modular attachment in the market to let me correct the alignment
or i have to switch to a special exoskeletal set up covering shuttle lock/
lanyard system.
your experiences and ideas regarding the case would be 100% appreciated.
