Fillauer SPL Knee Usage?

I have a gentleman who is a 69 y/o with a dx of post-polio syndrome.
Bilaterally weak quads and mild drop feet, but he compensates well and his gait
pattern is very good until he begins to fatique. Uses a walker at the present
time. He fell recently and frx'd his left patella. His physician wants us to
explore bracing options to provide knee support for the left side which is more
involved. We are considering the Becker G Knee as well as the Fillauer SPL. I
would appreciate thoughts from anyone who has had experience with either of
these joints. Other ideas are also welcome. I will post summary of responses.
Thank you
