Does anyone know of a medical supply company that might be able to help the individual below? I'm confident that at least one of the 3000 individuals on this listserve will have encountered this situation before and would know of a supplier.

Hello & Happy New Year!

I am trying to locate resources for obtaining custom medical gloves (non latex) for a medical student who is missing a couple of digits on each hand and has variable finger size for the other digits. I am located in Chicago, Illinois and the student is located in Rockford, Illinois. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the report that will provide more clinical information. The medical student will be starting fieldwork rotations. I was told by a Chicago-based O & P that any O & P practitioner will know how to get custom medical gloves made. Unfortunately, I called a number of O & P locations and everyone I spoke with are unaware of glove companies who will make custom medical gloves from the plaster/porcelein molds. I would appreciate if you can provide me with any information to better assist this person.

Thank you!
