Submit a Presentation for the 2004 National Assembly
AOPA has announced its call for papers for the 2004 National Assembly,
which will be held in Florida at the oceanfront Westin Diplomat Resort &
Spa from Sept. 20-23. The AOPA National Assembly provides an ideal
setting for you to share your expertise with other O&P professionals and
gain nationwide recognition by presenting a scientific or clinical
paper.
Eligible presenters receive a one-day complimentary registration (or
equivalent credit toward a full registration) to attend the Assembly.
Papers will be selected by the AOPA Clinical Sessions Workgroup from the
abstracts received. Presentations are allotted 15 or 30 minutes, based
on the strength of the abstracts and the amount of time requested by the
presenter. Types of presentations AOPA is seeking include:
-Scientific papers based on sound research and supported by solid data;
-Clinical papers based on case studies and outcomes;
-Clinical papers based on anecdotal observations and opinions;
-Clinical papers based on significant experience with a technique,
component or system; and
-Reports on new products, components or systems- however, commercial
presentations are discouraged.

AOPA Web site, www.aopanet.org. Send your abstract(s) to AOPA no later
than March 2. Questions? Contact Mary Merkin at (571) 431-0876, ext.
