Dear Lists,
I have a question about dynamic splint for radial nerve palsy:
1- Since the most significant factor to the ' Radial Nerve Palsy is the loss of wrist extension. Is it possible to utilize the Tenodesis effect to extend the wrist instead of the extend of splint in the dorsal part of the wrist, or is it necessary for the splint to cover the dorsal part of the wrist in order to keep it in the optimum extension ?
2- How the suitable pull in finger sling is determined? On what factors it depend?
3- What are the factors to the time of use of the Dynamic Splint ?
4- In fact, Is special difference between effect of static splint & dynamic splint for radial nerve palsy?
Best regards,
