Hello OandP List:
As part of my research for an article toward the end of 2004 dealing with the timeline of prosthetics, past, present, immediate future, forseeable future and way beyond into what ifs..
I'm looking for ideas for inclusion.
Does anyone have any views or information they would like to share with us on the future of prosthetics? Where we're heading, why, how.. immediate future, forseeable future and way beyond into wish lists
Not necessarily technology specific, in terms of brand names, but in terms of general advances, technologies, materials and fabrication methods, changes in philosophies, industry changes, surgical advances, the state of osteointegration, bionics, wetware, nanotechnology that sort of thing.
We're also interested in theoretical ideas as well.
Also, I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond to the Active Living client/patient questions.
The responses were very diverse and helpful. I wasn't able to respond to everyone, but ALL replies were appreciated.
Thanks again.
