Hello
My name is Kimberley Barreda and I write the Hot Topics column for Active Living Magazine.
In our upcoming issue, we're covering the Patient/Client terminology debate and we are looking for opinions from Prosthetists regarding your use of Client or Patient and your reasons for doing either.
We'd also like to hear from manufacturers about whether or not they allow their office staff to refer to amputees as patients, and if so, the reasons/rationale behind this decision.
This is NOT a debate, simply asking those who are in the industry their opinions.
If you'd like to comment - and by doing so, your comments may be used in the article along with your name (unless you ask us to withhold it), please forward them to <Email Address Redacted>
Thank you
