I have a FM pt AKA who is allergic to plastic. I knew in the beginning
she was allergic to tape but not all plastics. She did not tell me her
durr-plex socket broke her out, she hoped the finished socket would be
ok. I have tried bioflex, polyethylene, copolymer, acrylic resin
lamination, proflex with silicone, Ohio willow wood sleeve, and a
hypoberic sock with a silicone band. All these break her out into
blisters. Some only take 20 minutes. Is there any plastic that would
work? I would like to use something besides a sock fit and belt.
thanks ahead of time for any suggestions and/or answers.
