Hi List members,
On occasion, we'll have a patient on Workman's Comp offer to pay us
personally in order to expedite service. He haven't accepted because
we've heard that it's illegal to do so. Is there a waiver that could be
signed to allow this? What if we don't ever bill W. Comp for the
service? What if they have yet to provide information proving that they
have qualified for Workman's Comp?
Please respond if you have legal knowledge or personal experience. (not
just what someone told you way back when!)
Thanks !
