Dear Lane,

I did had a similar case with Spina Bifida, eventhough her left limb was
functional she wasn't able to walk. So the Right Trans-Femoral Prosthesis
was fitted just for the cosmesis purposes. Whenever she want to go out to
visit someone or shopping, she is to just slide the prosthesis over the
stump & rest the foot on the wheel chair pedal.

I have a patient in need of a transfer prosthesis, right AKA, left limb
non-functional due to spina bifida. Has anyone out there had a successful
application of such a prosthesis?
