GlacierDear List:
Is there any more information available on the proposed exemption of
orthotics for patients in skilled nursing units? I read somewhere that
there is a bill making its way through Congress that would give Orthotics
the same exemption as Prosthetics for serving patients who are in skilled
units. It would only make sense to provide these people with the bracing
necessary to assist with their rehabilitation while they are still in a
rehab environment.
Thanking you in advance,
Dean Mason, C. Ped, BOCO
