I would like to ask for any suggestions regarding the stretching of hip
flexion contractures on pediatric clients/patients. We run into this
problem often, and obviously discuss it with the treating physical
therapists. Unfortunately, we find that many of our families are not
compliant, do not have the time, are not willing to devote the time, cannot
get cooperation from the child or for whatever reason cannot seem to manage
to manually stretch these children's contractures.

I have toyed with the idea of a night time stretching orthoses, possibly
incorporating Ultraflex joints. Preventing the compensatory anterior pelvic
tilt, even with a bivalved LSO, appears to be the problem. I would like to
know if there are any other suggestions out there.

Thank you in advance for your responses. I will post them in a few days
after I have compiled them.
