Dear List serve members,
I have been requested to write an operation manual (OM) that relates to
who exactly is entitled to receive footwear, or not, from our hospital
based orthotic facility. For example, with the proactive response from
our pediatric orthopedist we have eliminated referrals for flat feet
shoes a few years back, and this OM will also reflect what is
considered to be inappropriate for referral.
I've done a search and have come up with little, except Medicare's
criteria for diabetic footwear candidates. I suspect I'm reinventing the
wheel here and am requesting help from anyone who will allow me to
plagiarize/adapt their own criteria for use here.
Thanks in advance,
John Polglase.
