Hello Listmembers,

I have two questions about the business practices of non profit O&P providers: Are these organizations allowed to submit claims to insurers for the devices they provide and if so, do they get reimbursed at or above medicare allowables? Second, many insurers require that providers make sincere attempts to collect patient coshares and deductibles - are non profit providers exempt from this rule?
