I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to participate in the
many exciting O&P Auxiliary events planned to be held in conjunction with
the 2003 American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) National
Assembly, October 22-25, 2003 in Reno, Nevada.
The O&P Auxiliary has been committed to supporting the orthotic and
prosthetic field since 1940. While our focus has changed throughout the
years, our commitment has not. The O&P Auxiliary is committed to the
support and assistance of various O&P organizations in the form of
charitable contributions. With our low annual dues of $10, the O&P
Auxiliary is seeking high-energy members willing to merge their talents and
interests in a program that is as equally committed to the goals of the
national organization.
Whether this is your first National Assembly or you attend every year, by
becoming involved in the O&P Auxiliary in Reno, you’ll connect with
attendees from all across the United States. AOPA has put together some
wonderful social events where you can meet new acquaintances and reconnect
with former associates. Please review the preliminary program, which
includes information on the Special Events and registration. (If you haven’
t received a copy of the Preliminary Program call Sheila Pasquini at
571-431-0834 or visit www.aopanet.org.)
We hope that you’ll take advantage of this exciting fall trip! In addition
to the area's spectacular beauty, the Reno-Lake Tahoe region offers an
extraordinary mix of history and culture, world-class ski and golf resorts,
and entertainment and gaming. As many of us share a unique partnership with
one another both personally and professionally, this is an opportunity to
make use of our resources and talents in the greater hope of yielding
substantial rewards for the O&P industry. On behalf of the entire O&P
Auxiliary, I hope that you plan to join us in Reno and commit yourself to
the challenges of the O&P Industry!
I look forward to seeing you in Reno!
Sincerely,
Paulette Vaughn
