I had a patient come in today with a prosthesis that was provided out of
state. He needs a replacement suspension sleeve, and the one he has is
something that I haven't seen before. It is not as much of a suspension
sleeve as a protective covering made of spandex with strips of silicone sewn
on the inside to prevent it from slipping down the prosthesis and to keep it
up on the thigh. The sleeve has the following brand on the tag that is
connected to it epX 2.5. Is anyone familiar with this?
Thanks in advance!
