An upcoming meeting at The World Bank may be of interest to those O&P
professionals with an education focus. Entitled Fundamental Issues in
the Education of Disabled Children and Youth Worldwide: Exploring
Methods to Operationalize the Bank's Role in Responding to this Critical
Population, this meeting is being co-hosted by the Human Development
Network's Education Department and the Office of the Advisor, Disability
and Development.

The meeting will be held next Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at The World Bank
offices in Washington, DC. While specific information about the event is
