Dear List,
I am looking to see if anyone has any suggestions
for billing Medicare for the SPL knee joint for a
post-polio patient with weak quads. He is a great
candidate for this system. However, there is no real
L-code for this joint system. Has anyone used the
miscellaneous code with success and does anyone have
any suggestion on what should be included in the
medical neccessity letter to the insurance company.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank
