Only 3 users responded. This is one quote. The other two said they only use the scheduling and to dos and are hoping to sync with Futura in the future for all functions.
I use an iPAQ to do patient notes. I use the calendar for scheduling and then the notes section of the calendar to write a progress note using the transcriber which allows me to write on the screen and it translates into typed text.
Then I synch with my laptop, cut and paste into a progress note form that I have done in Word and print.
I use the iPAQ because I also need it for adjusting one of the myoelectric systems I use. I am hoping that other computer based systems will use the iPAQ as well in the future...time will tell.
The great thing about doing the notes on a pocket PC is that I can do them any time...on line for lunch, in the airport, wherever and that saves time by making me productive at times when I would otherwise be wasting time.

It appears there are too many issues with the lack of good scheduling programs that synchronize with PDAs, not enough software written that is specific to our needs etc. It appears that I am one of many who would like to be able to use a PDA for billing, notes, workorders etc. that would quickly download and upload from a PC via infrared to save time, paper, etc. If there are any programers out there with some insight, please share.
