ACA, while unable for financial reasons to participate as a member in the negotiated Rulemaking Process, publicly stated at the annual meeting in Anaheim and on many subsequent occasions that they would present a position paper as a public presenter, at the appropriate time. At the last convening they carried out their promise, and are now working on getting consumer participation. Stay tuned to the ACA web site.
As you know we cannot use any CDC grant money for advocacy efforts, however, we have recently received a small donation specifically for this purpose and are now working hard to stretch it to its best advantage! Once we have posted the information on how to get involved on the web, we will get the word out to as many people as possible via email, then it is up to individual consumers and how involved they will get.
Will keep you posted on our progress. P
