I may be opening a can of worms here, but I am wondering whether or not any
Canadian facilities have orthotic technicians or other non-certifees who
assess and determine treatment protocol for clients/patients. Also, if so,
I would like to know what types of orthotics they see (ie. just shoe inserts
or kafos).
I am not really looking for a lengthy ethical debate of the situation, I
would just like to know whether you facility is:
public or private?
do techs or non certifees see patients?
what are their credentials? (registered or not, pedorthist or not?)
are there certifees in the same facility?
what types of devices do the non-certifees assess?

Thank you in advance,
I am not intending to post the data, unless someone would specifically like
me to post their answer.
