Greetings,
I used to be responsible for the medical plastics division of a large plastics distributor. Former associates still in the distribution business are calling me and saying that they are experiencing major customer complaints with copolymer and polypropylene. A little research has revealed that consolidation and closures in the plastics extrusion industry has resulted in changes in these common plastics (resin switch) that just isn't working well for O&P applications. I'm asking the list if you are having problems with copolymer and polypropylene (or other plastics) and what solutions have you come up with. I have friends (in distribution) who are attempting to solve this problem, and need to know how widespread the complaints are.
Thanks in advance,
Charles King
