We have recently learned that Blue Cross of California, in an attempt to
make itself more appealing to policyholders, is improving its coverage
for prescriptions, but as a trade off, we hear that the deductible for
the Senior Secure plan went from zero to $2200/year for DME and OandP.
I've notified our state association and hopefully consumer groups will
address this trend by helping consumers become savvy on OandP insurance
policy coverages.
