Dear List,
Thanks in advance for your help. I have two questions.
First, What sleeves are you using for suction or vacuum sockets? Is
there one out there that can be cut for patient length preference, does not
put excessive pressure on the patella, stays up, does not bind in the
popliteal and costs less than reimbursement???
Second question is for practitioners with patients in C legs. How are
they holding up? How have your patients torn them up or have they?
If you have patients who use sleeves and tend to put holes in them or
wear them out at the worst times or worst places, pass along this tip. Skip
the little patches that are a pain. Cling wrap or saran wrap under the
problem area works great.
Thanks again. Teri Powers-Watts,CPO,CPed
