Dear List,
The board of director for the Midwest Chapter of AAOP is pleased to announce
the Summer Scientific Seminar May 29-31, 2003 at the new Tinley Park
Convention Center in Tinley Park Illinois.
In an attempt to surpass the great success of last years meeting, we are
excited to present another ground breaking symposium: Silicone/Urethane
Solutions to Transfemoral Fitting. We have invited four liner manufacturers
to present their solutions to interface, suspension, socket fit, and
rotational control when using silicone/urethane liners. These presentations
will be followed by a panel discussion inviting participants to ask specific
questions.
Also included in our program is a Qualifying Course for the Becker Stance
Control Orthotic Knee Joint (introduced at last year's symposium). Other
highlights include the MWC Annual Golf Outing at Odyssey Country Club on May
29th, benefiting the Dale Yasukawa Memorial Fund. The O&P Assistance Fund in
partnership with the National Amputee Golf Association will be holding a
First Swing Clinic for therapists and patients also at Odyssey on May 29th.
For further information contact the Chapter President: Joe Ramicone CPO at
<Email Address Redacted> or 312-942-2011.
We look forward to seeing you there!
