Description

Title:

Call for papers ~ AOPA Assembly 2003

Date:

2/20/2003

Text:

Mark your calendars for Reno and share your clinical experience with others in the our field.

I encourage ListServ subscribers to consider presenting a paper at the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) 2003 National Assembly (this year in beautiful Reno, Nev.) October 22nd through 25th. AOPA has secured a $99 room rate at the Reno Hilton, so you can't afford to miss this opportunity!

AOPA's 2003 National Assembly is the perfect place for you to share your expertise with others in the O&P Industry by presenting a paper. Eligible presenters will receive a one-day complimentary registration (or equivalent credit towards a full-registration) for the 2003 Assembly.

Papers will be selected by the AOPA Clinical Sessions Workgroup (consisting of Jim Hughes, CP, John Kenney, CPO, and myself) from the abstracts received. Presentations will be 15 or 30 minutes, based on the strength of the abstracts and the amount of time requested by the presenter. We are seeking:

.Scientific papers based on sound research and data;

.Clinical papers based on case reports and outcomes;

.Clinical papers based on anecdotal observations and opinions;

.Clinical papers based on significant experience with a technique, component or system; and

.Reports on new products, components or systems (no commercials, please).

The call for papers form and separate abstracts should be returned to AOPA no later than March 3. For forms and more information, contact Sheila Pasquini at (571) 431-0834 or <Email Address Redacted> The forms are also available on the AOPA Web site at <URL Redacted>

I look forward to seeing you in Reno!

Lisa Schoonmaker, CPO, FAAOP

Chairperson, AOPA Clinical Sessions Workgroup
