OK I will admit when I am wrong about something, and I probably used a poor example when I said 3S liners cost $25 to $40 to manufacture. That is true, I have production reports that back that. But I should of also added that their are many hidden costs in producing a product for sale. For example initial investments in machinery, and equipment needed in the development of any new products.
Not to mention the hard work and sacrifice some endure to get their product on the market.
An example I learned, was the fifteen years of dedication Ossur spent developing his two color liner.
My original point to Justin was, we the O&P field are gouged every day, we pay way to much for many products because we are so specialized. With only a hand full of manufactures producing products we need were stuck! They only price compete with each other. If one sells a four hole adapter for $60 the other might drop their price to $55 to get our business, But if Home Depot had them we would be paying $10 and they would make a profit!
So I should have said Who can give in!
