Thanks to all who responded. Below is the initial inquiry followed by
summarized responses.
**Any leads on a dynamic extension assist off-the-shelf knee orthosis?
I know of DeRoyal and Ultraflex. Are there any lesser priced KO's
(aside from in house fabrication)?
1. Scott Ortho. (800-821-5795) Comments were that this KO uses
surgical tubing as an extension assist; they are OTS or custom; and are
good for quad deficit, but not stretching like an Ultraflex KO is used
for.
2. EMPI (they have a website)
3. Corflex (800-426-7353)
4. BODI
5. USMC: Comments were that it uses Lerman joints and surgical tubing
as an extension assist.
