I received about 30 replies (29 positive ones)about my posting on the any
willing provider case before the Supreme Court. I don't know when the
ruling is due. I think it is usually 1-3 months. I do think this is the
most important ruling for the O&P community that has ever come down from the
Court. I would like to see the O&P Trades cover this more than they have.
The Docs have it all over their trade mags.
One reply brought out an interesting point. If you have a O&P practice that
has a lot of contracts you negotiated over the years, that has a monetary
value associated with it when you want to sell your shop. That could all be
history with this ruling.
