Here are responses to my question about quality PVA bags:

We have been getting most of ours from Knit-Rite who obviously gets them
from Seattle Limb Systems. I don't have to deal with PVA bags daily like
our Techs do but I haven't had any problems with them and would say they
are well made. I'd love to see the other responses you receive.
Comfort Products (the ones withe silver sock Ag) Invested considerable
time and money to have a state of the art PVA cutting and sealing
equipment built ,there bags are good and fresh and work well. You may
call them or Bauerfeind to get you hands on them.
Hi - Otto Bock has good ones, but SPS has them a bit thinner and for a
fraction of the cost.
Try Prosthetics Research in Florida. We've used them, the bags, for
awhile and they haven't caused any problems so far, knock on wood. This
is after trying several other brands that all seemed to be substandard
in performance. The manufacturers are always sorry, but no one else
seems to be having problems at this time, standard line. Not much
consolation after a ruined lamination.
I would suggest using USMC PVA bags. If you are not satisfied you
might ought to try Euro International. In my opinion those are the
best bags on the market.
We had a problem last year with our supplier of PVA bags. Poor quality
and poor supply. As a result we (Fillauer) came up our own line of PVA
bags. We use hundreds of them in our own central fabs and the guys love
them. And the price is right.

Good Luck,
Jack Richmond, The Fillauer Companies
We also distribute comfort pva bags. In addition we also distribute
some that are manufactered in Europe that have also been successful.
