Dear colleagues,
Further to my previous messages last month, I am delighted to tell you that
our online prosthetic knee survey is now available to fill in online at:
<URL Redacted>

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office
/>
To take part you simply need to go to this website - there is no need for a
user name or password.
On completion of the survey, we will enter you into our prize draw with the
chance to win a book voucher worth £100 (or $150 or EUR150).
The survey is available to all prosthetists, clinicians and other medical
professionals who work with transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputees
as well as to transfemoral amputees themselves.
As I mentioned in my previous postings, there have been various surveys of
prosthetic knee joints carried out during the last 3 decades, however, there
seems to be a need to conduct a further survey to identify the issues which
have not been fully understood and to gain an up-to-date perspective.
The survey will be followed up by an online discussion of the main issues
and findings during a live web chat conference in February 2003 which will
feature experts from the field. In that way we may all be able to discuss
some of the findings and express our views which may enable us to enhance
our understanding of the needs and how we can satisfy the requirements of
future.
I look forward to your participation.
Yours faithfully,
Saeed Zahedi
