OPAF ANNOUNCES SPECIAL CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR THE
UPCOMING OPAF SPRING GOLF CLASSIC
For a $700.00 contribution to OPAF, your company will receive a
standard-hole sponsorship and registrations for a foursome. This
sponsorship opportunity is available only while standard-hole
sponsorships remain!
Join us on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Riverwalk Golf Club in San
Diego, California for our Spring 2003 Golf Classic. This event is an
excellent occasion to make business contacts, network with colleagues,
entertain your customers, and promote your organization. To take
advantage of this opportunity, contact Tamara Bibby at OPAF (tel.
202-223-2878) or download a Golf Classic registration form directly from
the OPAF web site: www.opfund.org/support/#4. Please mark Special
Offer on this form so that we know you want your company to take
advantage of this opportunity.
Riverwalk Golf Club, formerly known as the Stardust Country Club, has
entertained countless golf legends while hosting the PGA tour during the
1950's and 1960's. This course was completely re-designed by Ted
Robinson Sr. and son Ted Jr., and promises a classic golfing experience.
More than half a million cubic yards of soil was used to turn the
formerly flat course into 27 holes of undulating fairways, stunning
waterfalls and well-protected bent-grass greens. The San Diego River, a
prominent feature of the layout, contributes to the beauty and challenge
of the course architecture.
Individual registration for the Golf Classic is $150.00; this fee
includes green fees, cart fees, range balls, bag drop service,
personalized golf carts, lunch, and two drink tickets. To register,
please visit www.opfund.org/support/index.html. Transportation to the
course will depart the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina at 7:00 am
sharp. Shotgun start is at 8:00 am. Please note that refunds of
individual registration (the administrative portion paid to Riverwalk
Golf Club, $105.00) cannot be issued after March 1, 2003.
ALSO! DON'T FORGET THE OPAF SILENT AUCTION
Going, Going, Gone! OPAF is now preparing for its Spring 2003 Silent
Auction, which will be held during the American Academy of Orthotists
and Prosthetists' Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. If you, or
your organization, are interested in donating an item to the silent
auction, please contact Tamara Bibby at 202.223.2878 or download an
item-donation form directly from our web site at:
www.opfund.org/support/#4
While in San Diego, stop by OPAF's booth for an opportunity to bid on a
variety of outstanding items donated by individuals and organizations
both inside and outside the O&P community. This event, along with the
OPAF Golf Classic, helps to support OPAF direct-service community
initiatives.
The Spring Auction will run from Wednesday, March 19 to Saturday, March
22, 2003. All highest bidders must claim their prizes no later than
Noon, Saturday, March 22, 2003.
