Dear List,
We are reviewing our casting arrangements and I thought I might take the
opportunity to find out what set ups other people have found useful,
especially in casting transfemoral patients. We are as much interested in
homemade arrangements as manufacturers systems. Our prime focus is
reconciling patient safety and patient anxiety with ease of casting and
occupational health & safety issues. Our client base includes a lot of
elderly patients who have trouble maintaining single leg stance for the
duration of a cast. I'll compile and post answers.
thanks in anticipation,
