Thanks for the reply James, It was what I expected. There is so much I
would like to say but I know it would fall on deaf ears. Like you my
father has been a lifelong Orthotist in Texas and he taught me well, but
he also taught me some things that have proved to be more important than
Orthotics. He taught me compassion, common sense and to respect others,
it has served me well. When I see you bash others it makes me realize
that some things will never change, and it makes the things he taught me
even more important. As to your comment that I wouldn't know what an
Orthotist is, I have been involved in training several ABC Orthotists
and I guess I didn't do too bad?
Thanks and God bless,

I'm not trying to elevate my status. I don't need to. Nor am I trying to
lower my status by obtaining a Bogus Orthotic Credential.
Yes most of the physicians have no clue regarding the difference between
ABC and BOC. EVERY M.D. I have educated about this is shocked that the
BOC can legally do what they do.
My late father Howard Mc Coy, C.O. taught me more about orthotics than
most BOC will ever know. I was his technician for many years before I
decided to pursue my interest in prosthetics. I could easily have added
L.O. and/or BOC to my credentials. I choose not to because I did not
wish
to be a hypocrite.
There is no such thing as a capable BOC orthotist. How the hell would
you
know a knowledgeable statement about the orthotic side of things. You
can't even figure out what a real orthotic credential is.
