I have been asked to get information about the fracture brace codes that now exist in the HCPCS system.
I would like any member of the list who is knowledgable about how the codes were developed, back when the codes were created in the 70s and early 80s, to contact me.
I am interested in knowledge on the differentiation between; soft/semi-rigid/rigid, when to add the ankle joint L2180 code, and any other problem areas of this code group.
You can contact me at <Email Address Redacted> As we may have to speak provide your phone number if you would l ike me to give you a call.
