Warm wishes to all, and peace on earth (you alphabet worshipers too ;-)
I am sure our worldly audience tires of the bickering, as do I. How about a
clinical challenge for a change? You newcomers pay attention...
What I am searching for today is a source for items that I fear are
obselete. The line of products known as Robin Aids produced some items
specific to upper extremity pediatric amputees. There were also components
that could be fabricated into a hybrid prosthosis useful to provide
function to the individual unfortunate enough to have suffered a traumatic
brachial plexus injury. This consisted of a small terminal device mounted
on a frame and positioned in the palm of the ipsilateral limb. It is
controlled by typical prosthetic variety cable and harness for voluntary
opening operation and elastic prehensile force. Anybody got a warehouse
full of 'em? I need one. Thanks for listening and caring,
Rick Miller, C.O. (I wanted to be a truck driver when I grew up)
