HCPCS Codes for 2003 - Need Help?
The HCPCS codes released by CMS include 42 new codes, 33 deleted codes
and 9 code changes that all go into effect Jan. 1, 2003. These codes
are available on the AOPA Web site at www.aopanet.org. You will have
the normal three-month grace period to convert to these changes. After
March 31, 2003, any claims carrying deleted codes will be denied.
To meet this deadline, don't miss out on the next AOPA Coding and
Billing Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada on Feb. 5-6 at the Treasure Island
Hotel & Casino. This seminar, led by AOPA experts, will have the most
up-to-date information on these latest coding changes and more.
